Maintenance

1. Clean gutters and downspouts to prevent spring rain backups and foundation issues.
2. Inspect the roof for missing shingles, flashing issues, or winter damage.
3. Power wash exterior surfaces (siding, brick, steps) to remove pollen and mildew.
4. Check grading and drainage to ensure water flows away from the home.
5. Service the A/C system before summer heat hits; replace HVAC filters.
6. Test sump pump and check basement moisture.
7. Repair window screens and reseal caulking around doors and windows.
8. Inspect decks, patios and fences for loose boards, rot, or safety issues.
9. Landscape refresh: trim shrubs, edge beds, add fresh mulch, and clean up winter debris.
10. Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and replace batteries if needed.
