Capitol Hill SE Neighborhood Meet Up & Clean Up

Fulcrum Residential
Sep 14 5 minutes read

As residents of the Capitol Hill SE neighborhood, we know how important it is to support our neighbors, small businesses, local events and charities, and this week we wanted to share more about our recurring monthly community meet and greet, with a goal of furthering our impact in the community. We hope this resonates with you, and that you'll stop and see us IRL soon.

Fulcrum & Capitol Hill

Fulcrum Properties Group has proudly called Capitol Hill home for over a decade. In 2020 we moved our G Street SE office to the corner of 13th & E SE, and have been making it a priority to connect with our neighbors and nearby businesses to sponsor our block, and keep it clean month after month. As part of this work, we have set a goal to hold recurring neighborhood meet ups and clean ups on the first Saturday of each month. It's then that we gather together, enjoy some coffee, healthy smoothies, and breakfast treats before heading out and about to tidy and pick up trash round the neighborhood. While we have hosted monthly clean ups over the past few years, we're making a big push this year and next, to focus on heath and togetherness with our friends, neighbors and community as a whole. We hope you will join us for this one-of-a-kind community event!

Fulcrum & Our Community

As we embark on the next chapter of our Capitol Hill SE Neighborhood meet ups, we want our community to wholeheartedly participate in this wonderful opportunity for our neighbors to come together around for a common cause, our community. DC Realtor, Samuel Pastore, is spearheading this monthly effort, and is energized and excited to have a fresh iteration of this fun and inclusive neighborhood event be even more successful than ever before! We hope you will join us each month in engaging our neighbors, building friendship, health, and wealth here on the SE side of Capitol Hill!

More About Our Monthly Event!

Gather. Connect. Engage. Transform.

This is a great opportunity to get together with our neighbors, meet new friends, and help to keep our neighborhood beautiful.

Fulcrum will provide all of the clean up supplies, smoothies, breakfast treats, and coffee one might need.

This event occurs on the first Saturday of each month and runs from 9:00am through about 11:00am.

Rain or shine!

We will meet at our DC Office, Fulcrum Properties Group, located at 500 13th Street SE.

About our Partnership with Clean City DC's #trashfreeDC initiative

Adopting a block in the District of Columbia has many benefits:

  • Improved quality of life in your neighborhood. The appearance of our community contributes to the quality of life we all share.
  • Signs with your group's name letting people know you are committed to making a difference.
  • Meet your neighbors, strengthen your community connections, and build leadership skills. Become a role model to youth.
  • More active communities help discourage rodents and unwanted and illegal activity.

The Mayor’s Office of the Clean City was established by Mayor's Order 2001-31, in March 2001. MOCC leads the Mayor's Clean City Initiative by serving as the central point of contact and goal champion within the Mayor's administration for the initiative to cleanup the District of Columbia and maintain its cleanliness.
